Located in Milton Ontario, House of Chords specializes in private music lessons, including drum lessons. Learn the fundamentals of rhythm, proper technique, rudiments and gain a strong foundational knowledgeable of music. Private, one-on-one lessons are fun and customized according to each students’ musical interests, abilities, age and goals. Our drum instructors are versatile and flexible, and can teach virtually any style of music. Our rooms are fully equipped with two, high-quality drum kits, so you can play along with your teacher, just bring yourself and your sticks!
Our instructors are extremely experienced, friendly and highly skilled. They have varying musical backgrounds, some are touring professional musicians, while others have studied music extensively in post-secondary school as well as through private education.
We offer multiple opportunities per year to perform. Our music centre has both an in-house concert hall and recording studio. Each lesson room is fully loaded with the best quality instruments for learning. We offer group programming in addition to private, 1-on-1 instruction. Students can audition for our band program where they will perform, rehearse, and build friendships with like-minded peers.
Additionally, on-site you’ll find our retail shop Get Loud, for the sale, rental and repair of musical instruments. We offer an affordable rental program for students, with a fantastic buy-out option. Buying out the instrument within 3 months will apply the rental fee towards the purchase price, making it essentially a free rental!
