Located in Milton Ontario, House of Chords specializes in private music lessons, including bass lessons. Whether you are trying to refine your skills as an experienced expert or starting from scratch as a beginner, our customized lessons are right for you. Our highly skilled and knowledgeable instructors will deliver strong foundational music theory but in a fun way that is specific to your musical interests, age, ability and goals. They will assist you with your technical skills as a bass player, enhancing proficiency, musicianship and playing ability. We also offer group programming in addition to private, 1-on-1 instruction. Students can audition for our band program where they will perform, rehearse, and build friendships with like-minded peers.
Our instructors are highly skilled professional musicians with loads of experience and a friendly disposition. Their musical background varies. Examples include performing and touring as professional musicians, procuring a degree in post-secondary music education, and/or extensive private training.
We offer multiple opportunities per year to perform. Our music centre has both an in-house concert hall and recording studio. Each lesson room is stocked with the best quality equipment for learning, including great-sounding amplifiers, so you only have to bring your bass and plug-in!
Don’t have a bass? No problem! Check out our on-site retail shop Get Loud, for the sale, rental and repair of musical instruments. We offer an affordable rental program for students, with a fantastic buy-out option. Buying out the instrument within 3 months will apply the rental fee towards the purchase price, making it essentially a free rental!
